This section of the TORQ website has stayed stale for long enough. We have a huge amount of material to use here at TORQ, because of my journalistic exploits, but finding the time to get it up onto the website has proved, well, not very easy. Perhaps we should develop and sell fewer products. Anyway, I’ve found a window of opportunity and I’m going to seize it with both hands. This article (and the ones to follow) were originally written for Singletrack magazine and the style is somewhat ‘relaxed’ and ‘not overly serious’ so please enjoy reading them, glean the important information and don’t be too shocked if I rabbit on about a load of unecessary stuff!

Oh yes, this article was also published in ‘Bicycling Australia’.

There are only 3 places remaining on TORQ’s final inspirational week of 2008…

So, if you want to come along, you’ll have to make it snappy, because 16 is the maximum number we can take.

If you’d like to know what we’ve got up to in the past on this particular week, take a look at the following link:

Dates for our 2009 weeks will be published soon, so keep your eyes peeled.

Unfortunately we won’t be attending SITS (Sleepless in the Saddle) this year due to an ‘apparent’ conflict with a new nutritional sponsor for 2008…

We are aware that many of you will have got used to visiting us at this event in the past to purchase our products, so please make sure you buy online, or phone 0845 128 4312 to order-up supplies before you go (if you’re going).

TORQ have been driving miles around the UK in the distinct TORQ RV or sometimes just pitching up the 'dash and go' TORQ 'car and trailer' display at various events, dishing out advice and tips to riders across the UK, along with the occasional cup of tea.

AQR’s Kate Potter writes for TORQ about her experiences on this year’s TORQ inspirational week in Spain (February). This week was fully booked with 28 riders attending and we have one more inspirational week left this year (with only 4 places remaining), so if you’re interested in joining us there’s still time, but not very much of it…

Another month and another big rash of orange and black as the boys and girls of Team TORQ get into action throughout the country as the XC & enduro season gets well under way. Round 2 of the XC National Points Series headed for the Scottish Borders and pitched up at Drumlanrig for a cracking couple of races. With the dramatic backdrop of the fabulous Jacobean castle riders lined up to get ready to tackle one of the most technical courses used on a NPS circuit for many years.

According to Matt, the TORQ boss man "It’s been one heck of a year so far for both TORQ and the team. We've been up to our eyes in product production and have been struggling to make stuff fast enough to get out the door to all our customers. This along with research/development of new products and keeping up to date with all our consultancy work has left us a tad short of time. Those are a lot of the reasons as to why we haven’t had enough time to update the website! While we’ve been busy on the work front, the team, well, there seems to be a mini invasion of orange and black slowly (actually not that slowly!) creeping across the country!"
