TORQ are strengthening their links with distributor ATB sales as their Italian brand Wilier sponsor TORQ’s Triathlon team for 2012.

Ross Paterson, Wilier’s marketing manager said “We are delighted to extend our relationship with TORQ to include their Triathlon team in 2012.  The Wilier Twin Foil is an exceptional and exciting bike and we can’t wait to see how well it performs with them on-board”.

TORQ’s Triathlon Team manager James Emery said “All of the guys associated with Wilier in the UK have been extremely enthusiastic and recognise the value of sponsoring our team of great athletes and that sends positive ripples of morale through the entire squad. We’re all excited to be riding the custom TORQ-liveried Twinfoil for 2012 and are chomping at the bit to put it through its paces”.

The team’s other sponsors for 2012 will be announced shortly and the official launch of the replica team bike will at the London Bike Show on 12-15th January 2012.
