Juan Pedro López Pérez

From the small town of Lebrija in the province of Seville hadn’t always been the cycling star he is today. Starting his youthful sporting career as a football goal-keeper he soon realised that it wasn’t for him.

Following in his father’s footsteps, Juan turned to cycling. Race by race Juan’s success grew and he soon become noticed by the Contador Foundation who nurtured his performances over 5 years with the aim to turn professional.

In 2019, Juan won the most prestigious race in the U23 race calendar, the Giro Ciclistico della Valle d’Aosta Mont Blanc. This result then saw Juan sign for one of cycling’s biggest teams, TREK-Segafredo where he continues to build his professional career today.
