I started running to lose weight in my early 20’s. After few years of bumbling around on my own I joined a running club and discovered racing which gave me something to focus on and made me want to improve.
In 2012 I entered my first marathon, and then my first ultra in 2013. That was when I discovered my skill was very much endurance not speed!
Since then I’ve represented GB in the World trail championships in 2015 and am in the team for 2018. I hold the course record for several UK ultras and the 3rd fastest British female time for Spartathlon. My goal for 2018 other than competing at the World Trail championships is to complete a qualifying distance for 24 hour racing.
