With the race season almost upon us, many serious athletes’ winter training is now reaching its peak; late February/early March is often a time for racers to jump on a plane bound for warmer climates, as a means to escape the usual shoddy British weather. 

TORQ HQ is located in Shropshire for good reason; with our roots as a company firmly entrenched in Mountain Biking, one of the original reasons for locating TORQ here was some of the fantastic riding available straight out the front door. 

The Honda TT legends are a Motorcycling team of exceptionally talented racers, including 19 time Isle of Man TT winner, John McGuiness, TT fastest newcomer in 2011, Simon Andrews, and 2 time TT winner, Cameron Donald, formed to contest the 2012 Endurance World Championship a series of 8 and 24hour team races on some of the world most famous circuits.

After an exceptional performance at the 2012 London Olympics, finishing 8th in both the 5000 metres and 10,000 meters, with huge improvements on her personal best times, Julia rounded up 2012 rather tired; having raced close to 70 kilometres on the track, compared to just 17 kilometres in 2011.
