Once again, Iain takes his top position on the podium and pleases his home crowd, despite making a few embarrassing mistakes…

Here’s Ian’s account of the race:

“The Norwich Triathlon is run by my local club Tri-Anglia, where, incredibly, the bike route even goes past my house! I have done this event many times and indeed taken a few things for granted – I accidently racked my bike up in the wrong place and had the embarrassment of it being called out over the PA system! Just goes to show how easy it is to make a mistake! This time I opted to race in the Sprint Distance rather than the Standard. The race itself went to plan, which thankfully gave me my 5th victory in a row. As I was also honoured with a free entry for winning, so it looks like I will be back again to defend my title next year!”
