Louise Haston digs deep in the final race at this year’s National Masters Track Champs…

The Points race is late on the evening of the final day and it is Louise’s least favourite.  Once again Louise and Maddy were doing battle against each other and there was no plan to work together, but they certainly weren’t going to work against each other either.  Maddy got away for a lap early in the race which left Louise marking moves from the bunch, whilst picking up the remaining points available.  It was a strategy that would only ever be good enough for silver but what an amazing championships it had been for the team.
