Maddy Moore rides sprint and endurance at the Reading GP …

On a very hot summers day Maddy took part in the Reading Grand Prix.  This incorporates a round of the National Sprinters League which Maddy decided to take part in too, just for the fun of it.  Maddy told us “weighing in at probably 20kg less than the majority of the field and one of only two ladies on the start sheet, this was never going to result in a win but it was absolutely brilliant fun”.  To her credit she managed to qualify in 7th place following the flying 200 and then finish in 6th overall.  In between sprint heats Maddy also chased a Derny in the women’s only 15k race and managed to sneak a second place behind teamie Jan Birkmyre.
