The sun shone, we had fun, then it rained and we still had fun, except we didn’t realise until the sun shone again and we finished the event. 

TORQ have been driving miles around the UK in the distinct TORQ RV or sometimes just pitching up the ‘dash and go’ TORQ ‘car and trailer’ display at various events, dishing out advice and tips to riders across the UK, along with the occasional cup of tea.

Another month and another big rash of orange and black as the boys and girls of Team TORQ get into action throughout the country as the XC & enduro season gets well under way.

According to Matt, the TORQ boss man “It’s been one heck of a year so far for both TORQ and the team. 

Again, an action packed weekend of racing, but we’re going to tell you about it back to front! 

And so it began. The 2007 British Mountain Bike & Trek Marathon series kicked off in fine form on Easter weekend, with Torq being represented by many tuned & fuelled riders, each keen to put months of hard training into practise. 

Margam Park, South Wales, provided the venue for the 2nd round of the XC NPS. 

Sherwood Pines played host to the opening round of this year’s 2006 NPS Cross-Country series and duly provided more tension & drama than an episode of Eastenders. 

Just a very quick low-down on the new TORQ/Kona squad for 2006, because I’m off to Spain this evening to run a TORQ Fitness Week in conjunction with Spain’s first ever 24-hour race…

East Grinstead based TORQ-tuned cyclist Steven Price has enjoyed a double celebration in 2006 – the 35 year old has just won the London League Cyclo-Cross championship, finding out on the same day as his wife Jennie gave birth to their first child – Theo Paul was born on the first of February 2006. 

A couple of weeks have passed since the TORQ riders (and practically every other Mountain Biker in the UK) visited Margam Park, Wales for the National Mountain Bike Marathon Championships. 

Another midsummer’s weekend, another Mountain Mayhem and the TORQ teams performed better than ever…
