The September issue of Cycling Plus has just reviewed 11 major gel brands in its magazine and only one brand scored full marks (5 out of 5). I guess we wouldn’t be putting this on our homepage if it wasn’t TORQ would we?

Other gel brands tested included Accelerade, SIS, CNP, Multipower, Powerbar, Mule, Zipvit, Maxim and High 5. TORQ alone scored 5/5 with all except 2 of the other brands on 3/5. The other two scored 4/5.

As you can see from the extract below, it was TORQ’s relatively new Rhubarb & Custard gel that was on test with the final verdict “Tastes like a freshly made rhubarb crumble with custard”.
