After 5 rounds (that seem to have flown by), the weekend of the 13th-14th of September provided the last round of the TORQ-Fuelled Scott Marathon Series. 

With many of the our TORQ Performance Mountain Bike Team riders living in the Midlands, the Midlands XC Series has been well attended this year. 

My final hurrah at this level of racing, as I get to ride with some of the very best female track cyclists in the world, in a race that has been good to me in the past. 

The Vitruvian is a classic race which always sells out quickly and attracts a good calibre of age group athletes. 

The Helvellyn Triathlon is a particularly brutal event, that really challenges the triathletes that line up for the challenge. 

With the Mountain bike race season now virtually over, TORQ Performance Mountain Bike Team riders Ed and Neal swapped their Whyte 29C mountain bikes for Cyclo Cross bikes and took to the start line of the 52nd Annual 3 Peaks Cyclo Cross Race in the Yorkshire Dales – the UK’s biggest and toughest cyclo cross event .  

This was a huge win for Eleanor and the TORQ Tri Team at a professional Iron Distance Race. 

Two big races in 6 days is tough, especially when they are both Championship events. 

After a season that seems to have flown by, the middle of August brought us the last National XC event of 2014, Round 5 of the British XC Series. 

The final round of the National Series took place at Palmer Park, with some great racing all across the five disciplines that make up an omnium.
