Finally the day’s report for the TORQ Enduro Challenge (in association with Bryton) is actually being published on the day of the respective stage. 

On Day 2 of the TORQ Enduro Challenge (in association with Bryton GPS), Lydia stormed from Cannock Chase in Staffordshire to Glossop in north Derbyshire and remarkably escaped the worst of the weather. 

On the first day of the TORQ Enduro Challenge (in association with Bryton GPS), Lydia waves goodbye to TORQ HQ and amazingly makes it to Birches Valley MTB centre at Cannock Chase. 

Chirk is generally considered the first proper hit out for triathletes in the North West, West Midlands and Mid-Wales, attracting the most talented people in the region. 

TORQ are pleased to welcome Hamish Shaw to the team, a very accomplished triathlete racing both domestic and international races in for his age group. 

TORQ’s very talented Nick Shasha now has another title to add to his extensive racing CV – British Masters Indoor Champion…

The last few races of my early season before making the full switch to multi-sport have gone particularly well for me this year and I’ve broadened my racing experience by representing Great Britain on both the indoor track and at cross country running. 

Another of our new recruits, Eleanor Haresign, has started the season with a podium in a half-ironman in the sun. 

Although the season is yet to get fully underway, the team have been mixing it up a bit recently and here’s a bit of background as to what they’ve been up to as the winter finally draws to a close. 

The first round of the Midlands XC series falls just a week away from the first round of the first National XC rounds, which marks the official start of the competitive season for many racers on the UK scene.. 

For our first Triathlon report of 2013, we are starting with our very accomplished duathlon racer; Nick Shasha. 

With our XC season just getting underway here in the UK, our sister company TORQ Australia’s Performance MTB Team are coming to the end of what has been a busy season, racing their equivalent of the National XC MTB Series. 

After an exceptional performance at the 2012 London Olympics, finishing 8th in both the 5000 metres and 10,000 meters, with huge improvements on her personal best times, Julia rounded up 2012 rather tired; having raced close to 70 kilometres on the track, compared to just 17 kilometres in 2011.
