Last weekend saw the launch of the new format Premier Mountain Bike Series at Newnham Park, Plymouth.

Well that’s Mountain Mayhem over and done with for another year. 

Despite having only recently linked up with TORQ, the much-improved Kirsty Wallis managed to storm home to second place in the recent Singlespeed European Championships

The 2nd Dyfi Enduro was held last weekend. 

Well, whoever it was that started speculating that Mountain Bike racing was dead in this country was quite obviously wrong if this Sunday’s Giant NRS National Points Series was anything to go by…

The start of the Pro-Elite race

I’ve not seen such a busy Mountain Bike race venue in 3 or 4 years! 

TORQ-tuned Steve Hambling (Activ Folkestone/Trek) and Theresa Jordan (CC Luton) got their respective seasons off to a flying start last weekend at the second round of the Exodus Gorrick Spring Series. 

Here are some pretty pictures of the ROTOR (RCK) cranks and an interview with Mike Ponting, who sells and distributes them. 

The final round of the Midlands Specialized Super Series at Eastridge, Shropshire was a catalyst for some superlative performances from three of the TORQ-tuned. 

The ‘Bionic Brazilian’ Marcos Schier (No Sponsor) and Scott O’Neil (Middleburn) are certainly the TORQ men of the moment. 

The National Championships this year took place on a testing course near Ludlow, Shropshire.
