Two weeks after Sally Ford’s 1st place win at the Ultimate Trails 110k in the beautiful Lakedistrict, she was on the start line for the Laugavegur Ultra in Iceland. 

This year was the 11th edition of the Pivot Twentyfour12 and once again it was hosted at the premier former World Cup course at Newnham Park in Plymouth. 

Sam Rose heads to the Pitsford Standard Distance Triathlon and gets another win under her belt…

Here’s Sam’s account of the race:

“After the race briefing, the first two Male catagory waves set off, before the third and final wave, the Ladies were able to take position in the water. 

Nick Shasha switches to triathlon for the rest of the season and takes 5th place at the Triathlon England National Championships. 

Once again, Iain takes his top position on the podium and pleases his home crowd, despite making a few embarrassing mistakes…

“The Norwich Triathlon is run by my local club Tri-Anglia, where, incredibly, the bike route even goes past my house! 

Sally Ford took on the mighty Ultimate Trails 110k, became the Ultimate 1st Lady and brought home the highly unusual, but pretty neat silverware. 

Janet Birkmyre chalks up another derny paced win at the Reading Grand Prix. 

After not competing much lately, Ali jumped straight back into her running shoes, took the bull by the horns, raced twice within a week and produced some great results.

Sally took to the spectacular Alps with British Marathon Champion, Ben Thomas, for the 7-day Transalp, a race she had previously won 4 times. 

A beautiful, sunny day on the Norfolk coast heralded Steve’s first experience of a Dunerunner (one of our team sponsors) event and he couldn’t praise it more highly. 

Nick Shasha took 2nd overall at the Hillingdon Triathlon Race Series.
