This is my first article for the TORQ website… so, how do I introduce myself? 

Winter time is a great opportunity to concentrate on single sport disciplines for us triathletes. 

We at TORQ are very pleased to start introducing some of our new members of the triathlon team for 2012. 

Nick yet again demonstrates his superalitive running ability with another win, this time leading from the front in what sounds like a highly competitive field. 

Chris has been having a bit of fun competing in an off-road duathlon before the serious training starts in January. 

TORQ’s Dave Mcwhinney is a very accomplished Ironman racer. 

TORQ’s Nick Shasha took part in this hugely competitive race, clocking some impressive splits and taking 3rd spot overall in a closely fort race. 

TORQ’s top duathlete is also an extremely accomplished runner. 

The Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii is the dream of many and the fulfilment of a few select athletes. 

This was the big race for Nick, in the most competitive field. 

Chris achieves another podium result with a strong second place in his age group…

And, so another Summer racing season has flown by and I had reached the final key race of 2011; the National Xtri Champs. 

Nick once again showed the duathlon world, how fast the TORQ team are, with an excellent 4th place in the International draft legal race.
